The Buzz of the First Day: Highlights from Bosnia Property Show 2024
The Bosnia Property Show kicked off on Thursday, August 22, right in front of the ARIA Mall in Sarajevo!
The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as industry professionals, investors, property developers gathered to explore the latest trends and opportunities, admired the diverse properties and products on display. Visitors also enjoyed live performances and complimentary drinks throughout the day. Overall, it was a fantastic way for individuals to connect with property experts and business owners to find their dream property.
The presence of respected officials, representatives of business institutions and associations contributed to the solemnity of the opening ceremony. Among the distinguished attendees were Mr. Mirsad Jašarspahić, president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation BiH, Mrs. Slavica Korica, assistant director for promotion and analysis of FIPA (Foreign Investment Promotion Agency), Dr. Maida Bećirović, general secretary of FIPA , Mr. Enes Ališković, director of BHEPA (Export Promotion Agency at the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH), Mrs. Naida Ćerimović, president of the Association of Real Estate Brokers, and respected and eminent successful investors in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Sheikh Mohammed Al Qasimi, founder of the SunnyLand project in Bosnia, as well as Mr. Jawad AlHawaj, investor and businessman from Bahrain, president of the Council of the Society for Friendship and Cooperation between Bahrain and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The presence of numerous businessmen and businesswomen, as well as individuals from the financial and business sector from Bosnia and Herzegovina gave the event a boost.
Bosnia Property Show officially started with the ribbon cutting ceremony at the opening. On behalf of the Patron, the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, the envoy of Mr. Zlatko Mijatović, Minister gave speech and greeted the participants and guests, highlighted the efforts and programs implemented by the Ministry in order to improve the business environment in Sarajevo Canton, wishing the fair a successful operation and new business partnerships to the participants and exhibitors, and emphasized the Ministry’s openness to support investors.
Management of Bosnia Property Show 2024, Mr. Reyadh Yusuf and Mrs. Azra Čolić expressed their sincere gratitude to all the guests and participants for recognizing the importance of this fair for the improvement of their business and the opportunity for new partnerships. They noted that the Bosnia Property Show, as the first outdoor fair, aims to present to the widest range of clients’ investment opportunities as well as opportunities to activate their property, and that it is a unique platform for presenting the huge potential of the real estate sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Successful presentation of Mr. Yusuf to investors from Bahrain in relation to the Bosnia and Herzegovina real estate market has generated significant interest and opened new avenues for cross-border investment opportunities.
Mrs Čolić pointed out the fact that internationally affirmed companies and exporters from different sectors of production and industries from Bosnia and Herzegovina are participating at the fair and presenting original and highest quality products. Therefore, Bosnia Property Show is a unique opportunity for citizens of Sarajevo, guests and tourists to see and learn about the achievements of those excellent and successful companies.
The real estate agencies and brokers presented their portfolio of properties from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey and Bahrain, that includes a wide range of apartments, houses, villas available for living or investment.
In a festive atmosphere after the opening of the fair, the gathered guests greeted with interest the performance of the Culture and Art Society “Lola” Sarajevo. The association is known for its extraordinary performances in which they present the rich cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the countries of the region. With lively and authentic music and the rhythm of folklore, the audience and passers-by followed the performance of the dances with interest and enjoyment. After the excellent performance, the attendees had the opportunity to take photos with the dancers in colorful folk costumes, and to visit the exhibitors and their stands.
All in all, the Bosnia Property Show is a well-designed business event that has the potential and ambition to contribute to the successful development of the real estate market in Bosnia and wider.
